WHY THERAPY?

Whether you are feeling anxious, sad, over whelmed or going through a transition in life, an outside party can be very helpful. Therapy can help reorganize the unproductive or dysfunctional thoughts and behaviors. This can create a new chapter in life and/or relationship that feels safe, confident, and happy.

Therapy can also be useful in learning and implementing social skills, communication skills and life skills.

Sessions can be as structured or as relaxed as the client feels in order to obtain goals and solutions.

HOW MANY SESSIONS?

No one wants a client to sit through more sessions than needed.  Accomplishing  a new system of thinking, behaving, and communicating to allow for a fuller and happier life can happen can happen in just a couple sessions or may require a bit more work.

The number of sessions will depend on the goals the client/s wish to accomplish. We will typically meet once a week.

HOW LONG ARE SESSIONS?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes long.

WHAT IS THE FEE? 

I work on a sliding scale based on monthly income and people in the household. I do not currently accept insurance.
