“Which way do I go next?” Have you ever asked yourself that?

I want to share the framework or roadmap of how, many of, my sessions take place and a little background on myself.

To help accomplish your goals/s I strive to always take a warm and open approach to therapy. There are many different transitions that can and will take place in life from, a new relationship, taking on a new job, and/or changes in a family. Transitions and new experiences (positive or negative) can cause a variety of symptoms within an individual and family that one may not have the best tools to solve.

“I help my client thrive in life.”

Anxiety, anger, frustration, conflict, confusion, depression, and hopelessness may all occur during these life difficulties. Adjustments to thoughts and behaviors through counseling can be beneficial, and we can work through these hurdles together. It is important to me that our therapy session accomplish your goals in an environment and pace that is comfortable and solution focused.

I am well read and practiced in tackling transitions and helping re-align thought process’. Creating new problem solving skills, social skills, reducing anxiety and increasing use of constructive communication can allow for goals to be achieved. With these new skills, I hope to have clients walk away more empowered and confident. It is important to me that our therapy session accomplish your goals in an environment and pace that is comfortable and solution focused.

“I see every client as an individual with unique characteristics. “

I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Master’s of the Art in Counseling from St. Edwards University. I was born and raised in the Austin area and am happy to still call this wonderful town my home.

Counseling and communication training have always been an interest to me so it brings me great pleasure to be able to work within the field. Some of my specialties include, transitions, communication, relationship struggles, developmental disorders, social skills, anxiety, and depression. I see every client as an individual with unique characteristics and abilities allowing for each counseling experience to be tailored to their needs and goals.

When not counseling I enjoy the anything near water, reading, drawing, cooking, and taking a daily walk (or two) with my dog Rusty.
